Pinewood Memorial Field
“The little 12U gem with the worst parking in the borough.”
The Scoop
Tucked behind the rec center, Pinewood is a 200/220/200 youth field with a clay infield that drains better than anywhere else in town after rain. The dugouts are covered, the grass is real, and the snack stand has frozen Snickers.
Liners down the 3rd base line cross the access road — be careful pulling out. Pop-ups behind home plate often clear the netting and end up on the rec center roof. Hard pulls to right roll into the storm drain (R.I.P. 412 baseballs).
What folks are saying

Best drainage in Westchester. Played here the morning after 2 inches of rain and the infield was tournament-ready. Bring your own ice though — the snack stand runs out by Game 2.

Field's great. Parking is a war crime. Got there 20 minutes before first pitch and ended up parking 4 blocks away on a hill. Bring your good walking shoes.

Mound is in great shape. Plate is level. Lines were freshly chalked. The home dugout has a bat rack but the visiting side doesn't — small thing but worth knowing.
Played here? Spill the dirt.
